Which test is best for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea?
The most accurate and recommended test for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea is the **PCR (Urine) test**. It is the gold standard because it directly detects the genetic material (DNA) of the bacteria, making it highly sensitive even in early or asymptomatic infections.
What are the symptoms of Syphilis and how is it tested?
Syphilis can start with a painless sore (chancre), followed by a rash. However, it can be asymptomatic for years. We diagnose it with a simple blood test, using the VDRL test for screening and the highly specific TPHA test for confirmation.
Can Herpes and Hepatitis be detected without symptoms?
Yes. Our blood tests can detect antibodies to the Herpes virus (Type 1 & 2) and Hepatitis B & C, indicating past or recent exposure even if you have no symptoms. These tests are vital for knowing your status and managing long-term health.
